Like all Arai helmets, the Arai Proile Solid Helmet's shell was hand sculpted by Arai craftsmen, not a computer. This helmet's ScLc (Super Complex Laminate Construction) shell utilizes Arai's proprietary aerospace fiberglass to achieve an exceptionally strong, flexible, yet lightweight shell. The Profile's Long Oval (LO) interior shape was specifically developed to give the most comfort and best fit for riders with long narrow head-shapes.

Helmet Construction

• Organic shell shape conforms to the natural look of the human head

• ScLc (Super Complex Laminate Construction) shell fiberglass composite is stronger, lighter, and allows the use of softer, less-dense inner shell materials. This increases rider comfort

• Hyper-ridge reinforcement band circles the bottom of the shell, adding strength while lowering the helmet's center of gravity

• The EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) one-piece liner is comprised of several density zones molded into a single piece, assisting with energy absorption during helmet impact

Ventilation

• Side Vent exhaust ports are "sculpted" into the helmet shape and exhaust heat more efficiently

• Dual intake and exhaust vents direct airflow and are designed to draw a significant volume of air from the helmet's interior

• The FFS (Free Flow System) reduces wind noise and turbulence while exhausting hot air

• Rear neck exhaust duct is preforated at the base of the lining, aiding in the removal of stale air from the helmet interior

• Pull-down airflow spoilers minimize helmet wind noise and aid with removing hot air from the helmet face area

• Dual-pivot chin vent increases airflow to the face and faceshield and aids with defogging

Arai Fit and Features

• Long oval (LO) interior shape

• LRS shield removal allows for helmet shield changing without tools or removal of the sidepods
